Wife and I stopped in and ordered a pizza. We honestly didn't have time for a sit down meal, as we were on our way to a party. Benjamin made sure everything was fast, neat, and enjoyable. Awesome to have a server who clearly enjoys being at the restaurant and wants the customers to feel the same. Pizza was fresh. Crust is awesome. Mozzarella was fluffy and wonderful. I don't know if it's an Italian faux-pas but I fold the pizza Brooklyn style. The bread they bring out is tasty. Ask for olive oil and balsamic if you're not in to the garlic butter. Beer from the bar was quick and ice cold. Reasonably priced, oven fired--awesome. This was our second visit and I'm not sure why we waited so long to come in.
Decor is only lacking subject, in my opinion. But when the food is a home run, it could look like the inside of my garage and I wouldn't care. So no stars subtracted for that.
Server went of his was to make us happy--even apologized for not having mineral water in stock and insisted he'd get my wife a club soda with lime from the bar.
Skip the crowded, pricier Grimaldies down the street and try Pizza a Metro.
