| - Pho Nam has a decent offering of Vietnamese style noodle soups, rice dishes and more. Although, I usually get a pho dish without green onions, scallions or cilantro (other commonly known as "veggies"), while my boyfriend prefer rice dishes instead since he's not a big pho fan. In essence, there's a little bit of everything to please everyone.
The broth in the pho is light and refreshing, and the noodles and beef blend well together. Personally, the meat portion in the pho is enough for me, but even I did notice that the amount of meat is definitely on the lower end (so if you're super hungry, might want to ask for an extra order of meat and/or noodles).
Additionally, we almost always get the tofu appetizer which is surprisedly delicious but it has toppings on top and usually come out extra hot (so be careful while eating and definitely lightly blow on it to cool it down). It may also be an acquired taste for the toppings, so forewarning if you're not a fan of the tofu appetizer (it might just not be for everyone).
The Thai iced tea I got was on the sweeter side, and had more coconut milk than I would've liked, but it was still deliciously sweet even though I didn't finish the whole drink. I like that they provided it in a take our container in case I wanted to take it to go with me, but since we biked over, I didn't want to take the remainder with me.
Overall, definitely check out the this tranquil and relaxing pho place. It's definitely less busy during the times we've visited, so our food always comes out quickly, and usually others speak lightly when eating, so it's a calmer atmosphere.
