| - I brought in two Brooks Brothers blazers and a cashmere sweater for cleaning. All items were being dry cleaned for the very first time (I previously steamed them, to avoid the harsh chemicals from dry cleaning as much as possible).
I thought the price was great, until I got home and saw that one of my blazers was marred all over, including on the front lapel, where it is very obvious, even at a quick glance. I phoned in right away and they asked to see it, so I obliged.
Upon seeing it, they claimed the marring sites were all there when I brought it to them (not so, and I would expect any competent cleaner to make a note and point out any flaws to the customer before taking them out of sight).
Anyway, after a lengthy and frustrating visit, where the ladies spoke in front of me in another language, they ultimately refused to take any responsibility for ruining my jacket, and sent me packing. (Even pointed out it could have been my toddler that did it).
I was very disappointed with their cleaning service, and was appalled by their lack of professionalism and overall customer service. Obviously, I will not return, and am now looking for a competent dry cleaner in the Bloor West area.
