  • Went to Hugo's recently for a special event. I give this place a 4 star rating. The service is unbelievable but the food quality seems just ok. I had the Filet Mignon steak. It was good and large but, I have had just as good in a less expensive place. The salad bar was nice but overrated. We ordered the bananas foster for dessert. Was just soso. Having said that...the service was impeccable. The waiters and servers could not have been more helpful. Our every need was met and we never had to ask for anything. The price was high but not outrageous. You must realize when you are paying those kind of prices, you are paying for the hidden extras like the free rose for ladies and the plate of chocolate fruits that comes "complimentary". If service is your desire..this is the place. It is fancy and high class. Just don't expect a lot from the food. You won't be disappointed.
