  • I just love going to the House of Blues. I'm from California and used to go to all sorts of concerts in different locations but this one is by far my new favorite location. This was my first time getting to see Walk off The Earth, and wasn't expecting to be blown away by their showmanship. having seen some / if not all or their videos on YouTube . I knew they were good but wasn't expecting the show to be amazing. Seriously I had so much fun it was the best show I seen in a long while. Picking my tickets up at will call around 6:15 pm it was super quick and easy, there was literally no line and security was just as fast. When I actually got into the venue I was shocked to see that the house was practically full. Doors opened at 6 pm and the opening act ( the Darenots) started at 7 pm. They Played several songs including a reggae song. Being from Toronto Canada they expressed how excited they were to be on tour and in Las Vegas. In between their performance and Walk Off The Earth I decided to buy a drink at the bar. Sitting almost in front of the bar it wasn't that hard to make my way there and considering it was between sets the bar wasn't completely slammed. So getting my drink was quick. I got a Pabst beer on tap with a few orange slices for $10 the price was fair and the beer was cold just the way I like it. At 8 pm When Walk Off The Earth took the stage I was genuinely excited & taken back by how the crowd erupted with cheers. Having found a place to sit I was sitting off to the right of the stage i had an amazing birds eye view. In short this concert was the best one I been to in a long time. Walk Off The Earth has a way of getting the crowd hyped and keep the energy going. They have a unique way of using unorthodox objects to create beats. I found their take on major hits such as Ed Sheeran Shape of You to be amazing, and almost laughable on how they pulled off the beats. I can't express how much fun this concert was and the best part this band decided to donate 10% of the proceeds they make on their souvenir table would go to opportunity village. Simply amazing I didn't buy anything but I dropped twenty in box for charity.
