I love this place and have been many times over the past few years. It's usually empty, but most places on the East side usually are. I don't mind at all. It's a relaxing atmosphere. The staff (all family, I think) are sweet, and I love watching the videos and listening to the music.
The doro wat is one of the best things on the menu. The chicken always falls right off the bone. But honestly, I like pretty much everything. There have been occasions when the food was a little cooler than I would have preferred, but nothing to make me stop going. I've eaten Ethiopian food in NYC, Chicago, and Boston. I think this easily compares.
