  • Excellent vape shop. Went on (soft) opening weekend to pick up some juice as their Richmond Hill location was always too out of the way for me. Probably the smoothest opening I've ever seen. I would consider my a 'novice' vaper -- I'm about one or two step away from getting completely nerding out. But not to due lack of knowledge, I'm just too lazy to be building my own coils. But this is a serious vapers shop - selling high end mods, accessories and 'craft' juice. But don't be intimidated -- the staff was pretty friendly, they carry starter kits for beginners and value priced US-made Mt. Baker juice ($10 for 30 mL, $15 for 50 mL) - which is actually cheaper than many vape shops trying to fleece customers with overpriced made in China juice. The most impressive part is that the entire DashVapes franchise is that the entire operation is incredibly polished. Their website is full-on e-commerce site with live inventory tracking - unlike most online vape stores that have pages that look like they belong on Geocities. The juice sampling bar is well organized and kept hygenic -- they had little tablets set up that displayed a full menu of their juices with maker, flavour description, VG/PG ratio and pricing. Spent about an hour sampling the juices in front of a bigscreen TV - staff was friendly enough to chat with but knew when to leave you alone. Completely different feel from the usual cottage industry feel that vaping industry has. If Amazon was to open up boutique B&M vape shops, it would be something like DashVapes (and I mean that in the nicest way possible). It's hard to believe this location is a day old and the entire company is less than a year old. Pricing isn't the best compared to smaller operations like CanVape or ECigarettes.ca -- but completely reasonable given the convenience and selection. Also, it's pretty much the only place in Canada (that I'm aware of) that can fully service vapers with multi-hundred dollar set-ups.
