We were pleasantly surprised by Saigon Palace. We came for a quick lunch and were surprised by the strip mall location. We were doubly surprised by the extensive menu offering Chinese, Vietnamese and more.
I ordered the pho noodle soup which was good but not great. The beef was supposedly medium rare but I asked for it to be delivered rare so I could cook it in the broth and I guess that is not allowed. It was overcooked. The portion of beef was generous compared to other pho-serving restaurants which I appreciated.
My husband enjoyed the beef lo mein lunch portion with a cup of soup and an egg roll. I stole a bite of the lo mein and it was delicious. I think that alone will bring us back.
All-in-all, a decent spot for a quick, no thrills meal. Staff was efficient and seemingly pleasant. We were in and out in just under an hour.
