| - Great conceptualization of a sweet menu for a pick-me-up in Park West, but issues with quality may prevent it from rising to the boba hotspots one can find throughout the northwest valley.
I had a pistachio-avocado milk tea, and it was good even if the flavors were not the most recognizable. My companion had a chocolate-covered banana. The banana appeared overripe, which while unusual isn't a cardinal sin for confections. But she said it tasted old, and she didn't finish it. Made me wonder how long it was sitting there.
There's a display case of other deserts, and while I am not a stickler for presentation, they could at least label items in their display case, or otherwise not make it look so sloppy. Their pre-made treats just appear to be made with little effort.
On the bright side, they've got some savory treats I'd come back to try, like vegan tamales. It can't be all bad, and I hope they continue to hone their talents. This may be a gem in the rough, but I'd need some better experiences to be sure.
