  • It was cool setting foot in this mall for the first time 10 years ago when it seemed so wonderful and new. Going now is so disillusioning and obnoxious. Many of the shops appear to have closed down (including the Mega Virgin, holy cow), being replaced with mediocre over-priced clothing stores or filled with marked down rejected odds and ends. There's nothing special about Arizona Mills. It's beyond lost its flare and mystique, and is exactly like the other Mills malls. Even Black Market Minerals, which presents itself as free-flowing and original is a mirror image of BMMs at the other Mills malls, becoming just as much a commercial fixture as the Rainforest Cafe or Off Saks. Now while I can respect some bargain-hunting, it's just not worth braving the sea of sale hounds.
