I expect competency and quality when I use a RosieOnTheHouse.com referral network. I looked forward to working with a company that has been in service in the valley for over 30 years. We had Postorino come out and discuss a hidden leak (vent in pool had chronic bubbles coming out of it). They bid the repair job of our kooldeck along with a leak detection company who worked with them. After discussing our desires of uniformity of the entire kooldeck slab (1'x2' hole in the middle of a 3.5'x5' slab) we decided to proceed. They had a sub-contractor complete the texture & repaint. Afterwards the repaired section texture edges were obvious and I emailed a photo as well as spoke to the office manager twice about having someone come out to look at the faulty workmanship. I was told it was the best they could do & that it would look better after some time. And I reluctantly gave my credit card for the full amount and said that I may or may not work with them again as I would wait (a year possibly?) for the repair to look acceptable. A month later I called the subcontractor about a different job and was told he was never paid for this job. He also informed me that the material was acrylic and not kooldeck so it would never look the same. He brought this to the attention of Postorino who told him to complete the job regardless. If there is any differing in materials or expected outcome the customer should be advised up front prior to the job so that they can make an informed decision. To make matters worse, they double billed us and we had to go back and ask for a refund or work they didn't perform.
