| - My boyfriend had to get a tooth extracted today. He has had problems with this tooth since he was a kid, and previously had a root canal on it (around age 13). It started bothering him again, so we called multiple places, but Dr Wong had the best price range. We decided to go there, not to mention his office is in a sketchy part of town, front door isn't even accessible you have to use the back door. We waited about 30-45 min (we had a walk-in appt), and as soon as my boyfriend went back, the doc numbed him up but was a d*ck about everything. He was over confident, and not to mention, my boyfriend specified which tooth hurt, and he hit the tooth with his pick fairly hard, causing my boyfriend a tremendous amount of pain. Keep in mind the doc already knew that tooth was sensitive. It didn't have any cracks or anything, (cracks make the price raise) and he went ahead and broke the tooth up into over 10 pieces and had to individually extract each piece, thus charging us 3x the price we were initially given. The tooth really didn't need to be broken up, it was solid and full. My boyfriend doesn't have insurance, so we had to pay in full. I highly advise you to not go to this place. They don't care for their patients, nor do they do good dental work.
Let me also mention that now that the painful tooth is out, my boyfriend is in more excruciating pain than ever before, and they only prescribed him ibuprofen.
