  • I went to This Is London for the first time on Friday night. It sounds from the other reviews like this used to be THE IT place in the clubbing district. Either it's not anymore, or I went on the wrong night. Most of the second floor was roped off and it still didn't feel very poppin' on the first floor. There were some good looking people there I guess. The decor was definitely cool, music was decent and I was surprised that mixed drinks were only $6. There was only one stall in the men's bathroom and the toilet was filled with poopy water spilling out onto the floor. I actually saw some meat head go in there for a couple minues, clearly not to perform any kind of bodily function. Gross. I don't go clubbing much, but my impression is that all the cool kids are probably going somewhere else these days. Or maybe you have to go when a big name DJ is playing?
