| - I'm a huge fan of threading one's eyebrows. For me, it's less painful and less irritating than waxing, less time consuming than plucking, and definitely more accurate than razors.
So, I found a place at Concord Mills, but I disliked that it was at a random kiosk in the middle of the mall. People would gawk and stare and I just wanted something that felt a bit more professional. Fortunately, The Brow Bar opened up at Northlake Mall. I received a flier about it and decided to try the place out.
Boy, did I regret that...First of all, the girl didn't listen to anything I said about how I like my brows to look. Secondly, she was really rough with moving my head about and whatnot. Thirdly, despite a more professional atmosphere, I don't feel I received the most professional service. Another woman was sitting next to me getting her brows done and she was having worse luck with her technician than I had with mine.
After all of that, my brows have not quite fully recovered...she took off half of one brow and over arched the other. I have spent more money on brow pencils and powders to hide what is just now starting to grow back sparsely than on the actual threading itself! Try it for yourself. Maybe the techs here have improved their skills, but I'll be going back to the gals at Concord Mills, thank you very much (once I have enough eyebrow to thread).
