  • I stumbled upon Compassion church in 2015 when it was known as Heritage Church. From the moment we walked into the doors of this church, our lives changed. The parishioners of the church, the Pastor, and his wife went out of their way to make us feel welcome and now a little over two years later, we are proud to call them our church family. When my husband lost his job, the church rallied around us in support and prayer. When I was pregnant with our first child and no family living in the state, the church rallied around us in support, celebration, and prayer. And when many others in the church have had a hardship or life change, I've witnessed Compassion Church lift them up too. This church is truly a community that loves to serve the Lord and support each other. Both my husband and I were saved and baptized at Compassion and our daughter was dedicated there. Compassion Church exhibits the love, compassion, and sense of community that only people doing the work of Christ could. They also have an incredible ministry for kids and a nursery for the little ones. What you can expect during a Sunday service is a warm welcome, friendly smiles, worship music that speaks to your heart, and most importantly, the word of the Lord being delivered in sermons that are truly inspiring. I highly recommend Compassion Church and I can't say enough wonderful things about the church and the people.
