I tolerated this practice for 23 years.
For about the last 12 years, my blood pressure spiked when I walked in the door. Some of the highlights of this practice's issues include:
-Moving offices and not contacting their patients. (This caused me and two other people to show up at the "old" office and wonder what was going on.)
-Moving offices AGAIN and not contacting patients.
-Doctors retiring and then being told by the office staff "You can't switch doctors within the practice." THE DOCTOR RETIRED.
-Rude, incompetent office staff.
-One to two hour wait to see PA staff with a scheduled appointment. (They NEVER are running on time.) Good luck ever scheduling with an actual doctor.
-Telephone calls (patient inquiry) never returned by staff.
-Record transfer requests ignored by staff.
-Pharmacy calls ignored by staff.
-Rude, unprofessional PA staff. Bedside manner completely unprofessional. I have left this office crying more than once.
-Never able to speak with a real person on the phone, always asked to leave a voice message, never to be returned by staff.
-Inability to schedule recurring visits in a reasonable amount of time. For example, I was told the last time I was going to schedule a visit that my doctor was on "sabbatical until further notice" and that I was not able to schedule with another doctor. I was at that point three months pregnant (and completely unable to schedule a damn appointment WITH A DOCTOR) This was completely unacceptable and the last straw, and I left this practice.
My recommendation is to never deal with this business. Avoid at all costs. Drive across town. Get a different endo. The office staff has ruined this practice.
