  • I am still feeling rather annoyed as I composed this, so on a different day the review for this location will have a much higher probability of being be a star higher. So, been a WF customer for longer than 1/3 of you have been alive. They got me to sign up during the first week as a college freshmen. They didn't have too many Citibank locations that was easily accessible without a car back then. Like most banking customers I am used to and prefer just depositing a few checks, withdrawing cash from the ATM without the hassle of waiting in line for an actual bank teller. So I was annoyed having tried two different ATM in the parking lot outside, with message stating it was "Unable to complete transaction" and forced to go inside to talk to a banker for the second time in 3 days. The other day was the ATM card was deactivated, and I only found out since WF sent out a new chipped card, which was lost in the mail. A new replacement is again on the way and a temporary ATM was issued to tie over. It would be nice if a text message is sent letting me know about this. Today, they "temporarily" deactivated my ability to withdraw cash from the ATM, since I was too active recently. Okay, thanks for keeping a watchful eye on my legitimate account activity and causing minor inconvenience. But where was the WF fraud prevention team or the algorithm that monitors for potential fraudulent activities when some person withdrew way more than the $300, which I thought was the daily ATM withdraw limit, from an ATM just 2-3 minute's worth of a very leisurely stroll from this WF location??? Like what WF or BofA or any bank customer will hit up a different non-bank ATM when there is literally an ATM from their bank that is a few hundred yards away. Anyway, bankers at this location have always been friendly and tried to be helpful whenever I spoke to them, even today when I was really annoyed. Thank you Yuko for calling the back office to resolve the temporary account suspension. I only wished I remembered about the $$$ that was stolen from me that was refunded back to my account (I guess WF took the write off on that, instead of pursuing the white collar criminal that probably victimized 50+ ppl as part of his/her typical day and making a bunch of tax free income on the backs of innocent victims or big banks in the process), which would have been a smarter potential red flag triggering event for the monitoring system. Or why not check the ATM camera footage when a series of suspicious activities have been detected before taking actions that will more than likely annoy customers in case it was yet another false positive. That's all the tips I am going to share with you today. #DivestDAPL
