Listen, this is not a fancy place. As a guy, it's not a place you want to take a date to impress her, unless you know, she is that odd eclectic type that doesn't really like shaving, is in to 90s grunge music and can identify the grains flavoring your favorite beer. Then and only then, may your date be impressed by your hole-in-the-wall knowledge of how to find good grub cheap.
This place is tucked into a dive casino, the Longhorn. The restaurant is old and loosely western themed. It is a greasy spoon that seems to never change with the times. It isn't the nicest, cleanest or most convenient. But it charming, comfortable, good eating at a low price.
The menu is home style "favorites": comfortable food with breakfast all day. Over the years I tried basically everything on the menu and really have never had a bad experience.
Try the cattleman's cut prime rib with Cajun spice. It's my favorite.
