| - Seriously the worst vet experience I've ever had. $150 and 2 hours for a SCHEDULED 1-year booster and rabbis vac.
Yesterday, I called to make an appt. Whatever young girl answered the phone couldn't find my information for 8 mins although I phonetically spelled out names for her. I work tech support, and can tell when someone isn't actively listening. "Last name?" "Fix, Foxtrot Indian X-ray." "Nooo we don't have that..." "Try Petras. Papa echo tango Romeo alpha sierra" "Don't have that either..." She found the appt with my phone number, then says "OH, it was PETRAS and FIX" "Yes, that's what I spelled to you." I ask her to update the info to reflect my name as the primary for the appt. THEN she gives me a slight attitude. Excuse me, but I'm on the phone all day and wouldn't be talking to you unless I absolutely had to.
Today I come in for my appt, on time. They don't immediately find my info, because the incompetent girl I spoke with yesterday didn't actually update anything. I wait for about 45 mins in the lobby. I wait for another 45 in the exam room. Vet comes in, tries to tell me Nyx (my cat) has an ear infection without even performing a lab test. Tries to convince me to buy $50 medication to administer for 10 days. No unusual behavior, excess scratching, etc... Just trying to rack up the bill. Speaking of which, $50 for an "exam" (weight & heart rate)? They also had Nyx in the back for a good 25 of those 45 mins. At most GOOD vet clinics, they give the animal a chance to pee before giving shots. I figured that was part of it... NOPE. Which leads to the last part of this shenanigans...
Nyx accidentally pees on the way to the car. On me. So now I have to drive home in cat piss soaked clothes. She's a good kitty, doesn't scratch, will let you clip her claws, doesn't need a crate for car rides (just lays down and chills), and can even handle a little water. She felt bad about peeing and tried to clean it off of me on the drive home-- and this actually upset me more than anything else. Mistreat me, but do not mistreat my pet. Yeah, we were both miserable.
If this clinic is reading this, go ahead and remove me from your internal systems. I'm never coming back, never recommending this place. If you remove the review, I'll just repost it. People have to know what they're getting themselves into.
