Pre-sale tickets are $10.06 per person so automatically your first purchase is about double the cost. There were a lot of trucks and depending on when you go, a lot of people, too.
It can be foodie hell with blaring heat, mile long lines, no places to sit, no shade, loud music and stink. Some of the vendors aren't happy either for various reasons so you get subpar service and food.
Everything we had there was just meh or ok, partly because it's hell for the vendors as well. There was nothing there that you couldn't get elsewhere without the hassle.
Also, the prices were high compared to what you get. Food trucks used to be the cheap option, but it seems like they're just as pricey as sit down or fast food restaurants.
Go to this if you want to be among a lot of other people in a so-so event. If it's just good food you want, do a little research and seek out the good places scattered all around the city.
