  • The only Zoos I have been to in the past several years are the Houston Zoo and the Alexandria LA Zoo. Both are far better. The Pittsburgh Zoo is just not well kept. Construction/maintenance items are scattered throughout the property. The landscaping upkeep is very poor. And most importantly the animals seem gloomy. Probably because you have a lot of warm climate animals being kept in a much colder climate. But I don't know - maybe that's just me. I don't recommend this Zoo.
