I have been to this location twice and both visits were great. However, when I went back the third time I was less than pleased. I called 6 days prior to make my appointment for a mini fill and not once did the receptionist ask or check how long it had been since my previous fill. Then the day of my appointment I receive a call 6 minutes prior to my appointment telling me that they are changing my mini fill to a full fill per policy. I had no idea what this policy was for fills, which would have been nice to know when I scheduled my appointment almost a week ago. I looked at their website and I do not see any where that it states you must get a full fill if it's been longer than 7-10 days. It simply states that they recommend a fill every 2-4 weeks depending on lash growth.
I would have been okay with the change in appointment if I was told when I booked, but not minutes prior to my appointment. I was expecting to pay for a mini fill NOT a full fill. I do not appreciate a lack of communication. If it's a policy it should be clearly listed on your website and stated when appointments are made for fills. Unfortunately, I will not be going back to this business.
**Update**
I was contacted by the store manager of ALS and was able to discuss what occurred during the miscommunication at my last visit. The manager was very understanding and apologetic about what happened. Needless to say I did return for a full fill and my lashes look great. I would highly recommend Emily as a lash stylist. I'm hoping that moving forward the communication is better.
