  • I had been wanting to try Rhumbar since forever. It always seemed like a fun place to just hang out, listen to some music, smoke Hookah and chill out. I finally came here Saturday night for a fun night with my girlfriends and I was really disappointed. First of all, I really despise places that charge you for entry. $10 just to walk into this bar. I'm planning on getting drinks and hookah so it seems really unreasonable to pay a fee just to walk in. Okay, fine, it's Vegas so I bit the bullet and paid. I enjoyed the vibe; really upbeat, fun music playing and it's not upscale so you can show up in jeans and flats. The bar area was essentially empty with tons of seating, which was great. Their patio was really packed. We walked in and put our names down to get a seat on the patio. We were informed this could take awhile, so we just sat at the bar inside. I ordered a peach mint hookah which was horrible. It burnt my throat, I maybe got 5 decent hits before it started to burn so I couldn't really enjoy it. I have been to hookah places where the hookah lasts up to 2 hours. I paid $35+ and smoked it for 30 minutes before I couldn't stomach it anymore. We spent a total of 1 hour in here and left. Some nice things I could say; the DJ played some great music. The guys working the place were really nice and attentive. There are just way better places to go to in Vegas. Sadly, I would say skip Rhumbar.
