| - If I had only gone to this place once I would've given it a good review. Unfortunately, the second time I went I had a terrible experience. I made an appointment with the same stylist I had the first time, needing only a partial highlight and a trim. I emphasized that above all I wanted it to look natural and blend in (she did a good job with this before, not sure what happened this time). When I left the salon it looked ok down, but when I got home and pulled my hair up, I had 2 huge chunks of blonde on either side of my head with subsequent smaller stripes of blonde going down to my ears. A far cry from the natural, well-blended style I'd asked for. When I went to work the next day I was unable to pull my hair back and in different lighting you could tell that the color she used was WAY too light to blend in with the rest of my hair. I called to get it fixed and luckily they were able to fit me in the next day. I asked for a different stylist who "fixed" my hair by basically applying color all over. My coworkers told me it didn't look like I had anything done at all and they couldn't see any of the highlights I paid $175 for. Just to emphasize how ludicrous that price is, after tipping 2 people I paid over TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS for something I could've done myself with a box of dye from Rite Aid. I used to go to Philip Pelusi and they only charge $120 for the exact same service. Also, I know I did not pay this much the first time I went there or I wouldn't have gone back. They must just make up a price and charge whatever they feel like that day. I can't complain about the customer service, they were very nice when I called to book originally and when I called to get fixed, but if you are going to charge THAT much, it certainly better be worth it and as I said, I could've just done this myself for $10.
