  • Update: Several others on Yelp have reported getting fungal nail infections here. Me too. I got a pedi at Polish Me Pretty (the only nail salon I come to). About two weeks later, I take my polish off and have all these gross white spots. I'll leave a pic here so you can decide for yourself if it is worth it to get your nails done here. And FYI, if you get nail fungus, you will spend a ton at you doctor's and your insurance probably won't cover it. Original review: I am something of a regular here. That said, the experience you have totally depends on when you go. Make an appointment. Be prepared to be totally annoyed that you don't get the technician you scheduled with and you still have to wait as long as the walk ins (20-45 minutes). Friday afternoons are to be avoided like the plague. Go during the week. Book with Don. If you go on a weekend, be prepared to be screamed at when you are looking at polish. Screamed at again when you attempt to get the tech you had an appointment with. Have the tech you are given get up every two minutes to help another client--and still only get a 20 minute pedi. Glad I shelled out for that hot stone massage. Oh, and the woman whom manages this place is a peach--she'll be the one screaming at you. So why do I go here? It's clean. The techs understand "cut my nails straight across," ask before they change the length, and don't ignore what you've said and cut the corners off anyhow. And some of the techs are lovely people who don't yell constantly--they just work for someone who does.
