rev:text	Let me start off by saying that I love the venue for its charm and visual appeal. The prices seemed right for the size of the venue and the ratio of guests and all that the manor appeared to provide. I had my wedding on Sept. 15, 2014 and it was held outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception with approximately 50 guests in attendance. I enjoyed all the centerpiece options and the vendors list was helpful - if not a bit restrictive. I thought everything was perfect and would run smoothly. Both Nancy and Kent seemed friendly and moderately helpful prior to the event. However, the day of my event I had some questions: could we lock the door the bridal room so my belongings would be safe? why weren't there bows on the chairs for the outside ceremony as I was led to believe? why couldn't I keep the used candles and submersible lights that I purchased for my wedding? Kent was not only rude in his response "don't be iike that nothing will get taken" to my maid of honor, but his attitude went from helpful to snide in a blink. Nancy, who was more than helpful in setting up my centerpieces, insisted during clean up that my bridesmaid leave behind the used candles and my lights which including the unused ones and the wedding favors - and was pushy to the point of demanding she stop until my bridesmaid and new brother-in-law refused to leave without them. I felt rushed and the security guard seemed to hover and was rude to my remaining guests even though we ended up concluding the reception over an hour prior to midnight. In addition to all of this, every question i posed the response was "it costs more" and "we don't do that"; not to mention over 20 bottles of unopened wine and all the open and nearly full bottles of liquor provided were taken by the bartender who I was told by my aunt helped to "bully" the remaining guests who were cleaning into leaving before midnight - which is when we had paid to have the venue to. I enjoyed my caterers and other vendors and the place was beautiful, but the atmosphere became thick with discontent and ill will rather quickly and I find myself not only dissatisfied with the poor behavior, but unable to recommend this venue to any future friends or couples. Two stars for beauty and no heart.
