| - I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time now. Despite it being fashionably late, I have nothing but good things to say about the crew and service provided at Kruyer Dental.
The front staff all know me by how many times I've come in with recurring braces appointments and/or issues with my darn teeth while they were in braces, lol.
I first heard of Dr. Kruyer via the radio. 97.5 I believe. When I finally had good dental insurance after becoming an RN, I was like "Alright, guess it's time to take care of my teeth." I began with deep cleanings with Jamie, the hygienist. She's so sweet and does amazing work each and every time. She put me on an every 3 month regimen. And since the improvement in my dental and gum health, I'm now extended to every 6 months, yay!
So then I decided I wanted to get braces again (the first time I had braces was in my teenage years) since I had never worn my retainers as a kid. Dr. Kruyer and her husband Paul explained everything to me in detail. What kind of brackets did I want, metal or clear? Did I want to remove wisdom teeth before or after complete correction with braces? Did I want to have brackets placed on my back molars or not at all? There were lots of options and they helped me with each decision.
So. Being the crazy person that I am. I decided to have my braces placed AND have my wisdom teeth taken out all in the same day. Great, right? Actually, it was. The procedure wasn't painful at all. I was sedated with oral pain medication and oral anti-anxiety medication which was very strong for my tiny little self. When I woke up, I was free of wisdom teeth but also had a new grill. Literally.
Recovery was kind of complicated because I got a dry socket (ouch). But the office was ALWAYS accommodating to my needs, letting me walk in or squeezing me in even though they were busy. Not only did they do this during recovery after wisdom teeth removal, but they did it for me whenever little issues would come up with broken brackets or wires acting up in my mouth.
With that being said. They have great customer service. And staff are all knowledgeable and very good at what they do. Very professional and make you feel comfortable in their care. Dr. Kruyer makes you laugh a bunch. And Jerry and Sandy were usually the main two who worked on my braces. They're awesome. But so is the whole staff!
Thanks for the quick braces treatment! Placed March 2016 and removed November 2016!
Would recommend Dr. Kruyer's services to anyone.
