  • We found this motel on Groupon. The special was $100 a night with food and drink tickets. The pictures were nice, we saw that it was close to places that could keep us entertained, and it was the place where MTV filmed the Real World. So we assumed it was going to be nice and stuff..... Arrival: We requested to be next to each other. The receptionist, whose name was Sandra, said she could accommodate us and place our very small group across the way and next door. She told us that one hotel was available, and the other two rooms would take 30 min. Well 30 min turned into 1 hour plus. When we went downstairs to finally check-in the remaining 2 rooms Sandra wasn't there. Her partners Jason and Jenny were managing the front desk, and caught our wrath for the rooms not being close together as promised by Sandra. Jason and Jenny were apologetic and even gave us extra drink and food tickets that Sandra never offered us to begin with. Rooms: We stayed in a premier crash pad. I don't know the difference between the rooms. The rooms were beyond basic. The following items were NOT included in the rooms: - Telephone (You must use your personal phone.) - iron and ironing board - microwave - refrigerator The lighting was very dim. You can still hear the music as if the party was brought to your room (I slept through it). The shower, toilet and sink drained slow. There was a leak in the hotel, but since you don't have a phone is hard to inform the front desk. There room decor is very nice. Ikea hooked them up. There's chip paint here and there, but for the most part it was cute. The beds are extremely comfortable. Hotel: Breakfast was good. Didn't have to pay because we were given breakfast ticket. Lots of things to do on the property. Some games you do have to pay for and their overpriced as heck. The hotel turns into a club at night. Residents who don't club but just want to get to your room must have an ID and room key per person. You can't have a key and only your room mate has one (it would make sense since you're staying together); security will have to escort you to your room for not having an extra key. Parking: The parking lot may only be able to accommodate 20 cars. If you are not staying at the hotel or you lose your parking placard that is provided to you, then you will have to pay to park. User Uber, Lyft, or stay local. Fremont Street is one block over. Check out was smoothe. Check your bank statement as you may have been charged extra like we were. Sandra said it was a holding fee. I'll check my statements later to see if was really a hold.
