Went to catch a movie at STC and took a stroll around the mall as I still had time to spare. As I was looking at the renovations and changes made to the mall, I was delighted to see a pop-up (booth/stand) for Nadege upstairs at where the old food court use to be. Being a small booth, this location only offers macarons. The lady who was working at the booth had told me that the booth is under a year contract to see the sale demographic within the area in hopes that they will permanently open up a shop next year. So calling out all you Nadege macaron lovers on the east end, go fullfil your craving without having to travel all the way downtown/Yorkdale!
The lady was kind and patient in telling us the variety of flavors that were offered and helped my friend and I select flavors that we were gearing towards. We got a box of 6 to share and both of us agree that they were the same quality of chewy deliciousness that one would get at the patisserie locations. The flavors we got were: pistachio, hazelnut praline, coffee, ginger chocolate, orange zest with geneva chocolate, and matcha raspberry. Each one was unique in flavor but our top 3 favorites were the hazelnut praline, coffee and orange zest chocolate as the flavors were very distinct and rich.
I really hope that the location becomes successful so that they can open up a permanent location at STC and also sell bonbons and pastries as well.
