  • This was a total random find but we loved it! I would call this place a dive bar that decorates with tacky Halloween stuff, rather than full-out Halloween themed bar. When we visited they played a mix of dancey 90's and 2000's stuff, but to appease my group of friends, they also played Whitney Houston's "I want to dance with somebody" and I made a big production of dancing to it all by myself on the dance floor area. I'm from Michigan and you can't smoke in restaurants or bars anymore, so for nostalgia and also because I like a cig when I smoke, I bummed one off the cute bartender working on Saturday night. My hair had that stale smoke smell at the end of the night, which reminded me of being 23 again, also a bit of nostalgia for me. They serve super strong drinks with cheap Halloween toys in it. We wore all the spider rings all night like the classy ladies we are. The next morning I found fake plastic witch finger nails in my purse which made me laugh out loud. They had Tim Burdon movies playing on a TV that faced the street,. Tim Burton is always okay with me.
