| - Family place. I've had my order taken by a number of different people, from 13 year old sons to Mom to Grandma, from whom I feel somewhat guilty making walk. There's an occasional loud argument from the kitchen, in (I'm going out on a limb here) Greek?
The food is sorta all over the place. The salad is basically a big wad of iceberg with big tomato slices, huge chunks of feta, and whole black olives with a splash of vinaigrette. There's rolls with butter, which are inoffensive but they don't seem to complement the rest of the food in a meaningful way. The mousaka will be blander and more ketchupy than you think it will be, however, the Spanokopita and the Tiropita are both pretty great. Maybe that's the secret to the success? Copious amounts of cheese in flaky pastry is really what you're after, here, and there's no point in being coy. You can order something more exotic if you feel like it, but really: get cheese wrapped in filo dough.
As a note: every time I've ordered takeout, I have shown up and then have them begin preparing the meal after I arrived. Phone calls are pointless, typically. It's far easier to dine in.
