  • We were meeting some friends here for dinner. After arriving early we decided to grab a few drinks at the bar and wait. The bartender was friendly enough and well informed about all the beer selections. We also eyed the pool table and decided we will come back one night just to play a few games. About 15 minutes later our friends arrived and we had a seat. Everything was went smooth until our server decided to start talking politics. Ugh. He mentioned how Trump's favorite drink was the Moscow Mule and went on a semi-rant about how awful Republicans voters are. This indeed offended at least 2 people in my group who are indeed Republicans. It was a bit of a bummer that our night had to become awkward and ruined because this waiter assumes everyone thinks just like him. If we do return to Cornish Pasty again, it will be to another location so we don't encounter this guy. Too bad because the beers were large and cold and the food delicious.
