This hotel is a SCAM. I recently stayed here for 3 nights during a convention and when I checked my invoice I was charged an extra $400 with room damage - no explanation and no proof of pictures. I called the accounting department twice two different days and left two different voicemails. I finally got a call back and they stated they charged me for carpet burns?! I DO NOT smoke so I know 100% those burns were not from me. I heard from others that they had been charged the same thing but had received a separate email stating why and received proof of pictures. I emailed Elisabeth Runyon asking for proof of the carpet burns and she emailed me back stating she's been "trying" to send me the pictures but the email wouldn't go through because they were to large (mind you this is 5 days after I received the invoice) so she's going to send each picture separately. Why didn't she do that in the first place instead of waiting 5 days for me to have to contact her to get proof? I emailed back explaining that I do not smoke and those burns were not there when I left and that I did not cause the burns. She did not respond back to me after that and the hotel is refusing to refund me back my $400 so I am working on getting the charge disputed with my credit card company. Maybe their maids are smoking in the rooms or maybe they're scamming people to pay for the remodeling they are going to do at the hotel. Do not stay here the customer service sucks and they do not respond back to emails nor phone calls.
