  • I have never used enterprise, but I'd read decent reviews on yelp, however this was not a great experience. I just moved to madison (awesome city) from Detroit (not as awesome), and sold my car in the process. I needed a car for the day so I booked a reservation online 48 hours in advance. I received a confirmation email that was a few pages long, but the general jist was a green light. I take an uber to enterprise, but because I was new to the state and didn't change over my drivers license yet, they needed a credit card AND two utility bills all in the same address. Now they explained to me that they do this so that they don't have to run a credit check. I didn't have two utility bills in my name, and they didn't budge. John the initial receptionist was actually nice and understanding, but the manager that I talked to had a terrible attitude and all I just wanted to see if there was any flexibility or if they could simply check my credit. He constantly rolled his eyes and treated me as a stupid individual. Very unprofessional. I do realize that I should change my license, but I simply haven't been here long enough to acquire two utility bills. The kicker is that they offered to drive me downtown to get my license, but I was so fed up that I had them drive me to the Avis/Budget car rental half a mile away, where they let me rent a car with zero, I mean zero, hastle. I was in and out of there in a beautiful Toyota avalon (I think) that they upgraded for free, because they heard about my time at enterprise! Go somewhere else, enterprise is on a high horse and they need to be put in there place.
