The park is in a residential are of Henderson. It's pretty nice except that the grass is mostly brown with the occasional green patch. But what can you expect with a soccer field in the middle of the desert and strict water conservation laws? It was also the middle of January so we didn't expect the greatest looking grass.
As a soccer player, I thought the fields were very nice. Even though they're brown, the grass is not dead, the ground is still soft and cleats can still grip the ground well when running and shifting direction. There's also plenty of space for fans to sit and watch the game. We did however, have a little trouble identifying the field numbers. We didn't see any signs and had to ask a seasoned soccer mom for directions. Overall, a good experience. If only my nephew's team had won their game it would've been even better.
