  • I purchased a refrigerator from Sears. I signed up for the replacement filter to be mailed directly to me annually. The filter that came with the refrigerator is no longer in production so last month they sent me a comparable filter. The filter I received was for a different model refrigerator and it was not interchangeable with the other filter. I had to call customer service and they ordered a different filter for me and I had to return this one. When the new filter arrived it was the same wrong filter. I had to call customer service again and I explained that I received the same wrong filter. The guy I spoke to took about 35 minutes to order me a third filter and I had to return this one. I received my third filter this week and when I replaced my other filter it makes a loud vibrating sound. The old filter is silent. I called the parts department which is the correct department and the girl I spoke to told me that I needed to call a different number that she could not transfer me to. I called the different phone number and the gentleman was very rude to me and I asked to speak to a manager six or seven times and he kept saying that the manager won't be able to do anything for me and kept denying my request. I finally said just get me over to your manager right now I don't care if he can help me or not. The guy puts me on hold for 10 seconds and gets back on the phone and says he is the manager. I told him, no you are still the same guy that I just talked to and he got really frustrated with me and said fine and just transferred me back to the parts phone number that I called initially. A guy answered the phone and I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager and I explained what happened and he sounded very annoyed by it and never apologized for what I had gone through. I was so upset that I started to cry and just told him that I want to return this part and I do not want a replacement. I just never want to deal with them ever again. He sent me a return label and then asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I let him know that it's very upsetting that not one person apologized for anything that happened and that nobody said that they would take care of the guy who lied and said he was a supervisor excetera excetera. The guy just said okay well we'll see what we can do about it have a good day. I don't know what's happened to Sears but they are not the great company that they used to be.
