In recent years, burritos have gone through an evolution...I would say it started with the magic that is Burrito Boy and spread far and wide. So nowadays, expectations for this flour-wrapped concoction are high. It is in this regard that I cannot bring myself to give what Taco Del Mar calls a "burrito" a good review. It was filled with potentially-canned refried beans, they were out of guacamole (mind you I was there very late) and the end result was (for lack of a better word) "blah". The wrap wasn't crispy and toasted as we've become used to, and none of the flavourings particularly stood out. I'm also not a fan of "rice" in the burrito - so that was a turn off. All in all, it was tasteless and left me very disappointed. This may have been a somewhat adequate burrito circa 1991, but not in this day and age.
