| - I am on a fried pickle mission so this was our next stop on the memo. We arrived on a Saturday night, no wait, parking right out front. I am liking how this is beginning. We ordered the sampler appetizer plate to share. We were only there for snacks and a beer. We ordered:
French Fries: undercooked and a little soggy, but they are freshly hand cut
Macaroni and cheese bites: I am not sure what my expectation was, but the bites were alright. It seems as if they were just some breaded Kraft mac n cheese and then fried. I am not sure if I would say that they were good, but they weren't bad.
Wings: Average at best
Fried Pickles: Positive - there were the slices, not the spears. Negatives - I felt like I was at the swimming pool snack bar and the pickles came out of a big frozen bag. (On my 1 - bad to 5 - Awesome pickle scale, they got a measly 2)
For $23, it seemed like a little steep for the quality of the fried goodness
Go to Sharp Edge for the beer. The selection is to amazing. They have great beers on tap and a whole section dedicated to locals, which I enjoy. The sample is not so great, not bad, just not so great.
