I would give 0 stars if I could. I went in to open a teen checking account for my daughter 5/16 . Received all account paperwork in the mail explaining fees and such. I called the banker to discuss the fees associated with the teen checking and "Rocio" advised me to disregard the fee notice as it is sent for all account types. 3 months later I notice a $10 fee being charged per month ($30) . I go into the branch and "Rocio" is no longer there. I speak with another banker and she says she can't remove the fees so she calls over a manager ( I dont remember his name). He credits me the $30 and says he will monitor the account and waive future fees as the teen account is for a 15 year old who does not have direct deposit, a $1500 balance nor is going to be using the account at least 10 times per month. I now notice $40 in fees and go into the branch to get the fees waived. The manager I spoke to isn't there so I spoke with a commercial banker who really had no business helping me or trying to for that matter. She was rude, unprofessional and was on social media just sitting at her desk when I approached her because she was just sitting at her desk on her phone. She went through notes the manager left on my account and it was complete lies. She said "well, it's here in notes" and my reply was "so, it's true?". No person with common sense would leave an account open for a 15 year old knowing a $10 monthly fee would be charged. She asked me for my daughters phone number and I told her that my daughter shouldn't be getting phone calls from the bank as my daughter is a minor. Her reply was "she had a debit card so she CAN receive phone calls". She said the manager would be calling me at 9am this morning......still waiting. The account was opened improperly ( in certain to qualify the banker for her bonus), I was misguided from the manager in order to keep the account open (again I'm certain to qualify for a bonus) and now disregarded. Bye Wells Fargo, hello Chase.
