  • We found these guys through the U-Haul Moving Help site. We needed help loading up our moving container we had rented. They confirmed for 9am, and then called and gave us less than 24 hours notice that they had to push back to 11am. On the day of our move, nobody arrived at 11 am. We repeatedly called the number on their website and were sent straight to voicemail. I tried writing to the e-mail address on their website and my e-mails were returned as undeliverable. This was very stressful because our storage container was being picked up that afternoon and staying on schedule was crucial. Eventually, two guys showed up at noon, but by then we had brought most of our stuff downstairs ourselves. They helped with the big furniture, and were very nice and courteous. They did a good job loading the storage container, but the late arrival and lack of communication was unacceptable. Moving is stressful enough, you definitely don't want to be waiting on your late-arriving movers when you are on a tight time schedule. I definitely would not recommend using NC Moving Labor.
