I was recommended here by the boutique where I purchased my wedding dress. So upon purchasing the dress I immediately took it here to get it cleaned (yes, my dress was off the rack). The manager at this location informed me that my dress would be done in a week's time. First time getting a wedding dress cleaned so I thought "sure does seem long but what do I know about cleaning a wedding dress." The manager quoted me $125. I promptly said yes and was on my way!
Fast forward to 8 days later, I am driving up to pick up my dress and lo and behold- my dress hasn't even been touched. I got every excuse- "Oh, our week doesn't start 'til Wednesday and you dropped it off Monday of last week so it technically hasn't been a week for us..." (Mind you I had already clarified that I could pick it up on Monday of the following week and here it was already Tuesday. "So sorry, a bride came in with an emergency and we had to clean a stain out of her dress. We will comp this for you and have it ready by tomorrow!" Really, really?! So all this time you could've had my dress done in 24 hrs? So why are you now telling me that I had to wait a week and then to add insult to injury you put another person's dress before mine?? How do you know that mine doesn't need to be done ASAP?? Btw, my seamstress was waiting for me later that day to have alterations made.
Yeah, awful. I took my dress back as not even a free clean was about to make me entrust my dress to these people for one more day.
I took my dress to another cleaner and in two days they had it ready. Perfect job! No complaints.
