  • Always enjoy Hilarities located in the basement of Pickwick and Frolic on E. 4th Street...have been there a number of times watching national and local comedians, on this night it was Dave Attel, who is one of the best comedians touring...have seen him several times and he never disappoints. You can make reservations before the show and pick where you want to sit or just buy tickets to the show and spin the wheel with open seating, I have done both, usually try to make reservations....On this night we sat in the middle of the venue, just behind the first couple rows, great seats....decided not to eat and wait, food is average, mostly appetizers that are ok, nothing special, we just drank some cider ales....no drink minimum like some clubs so no pressure on your bill, service was very good, 3 comedians on this night, opener and host young lady who was ok, but young and inexperienced, 2nd comedian was outstanding....i think his name was Dave Laughlin, highly recommend seeing him, just a matter of time before he is a headliner and of course Attel, was awesome, dirty, finding a way to make taboo subjects like pornography, sex toys, and just about anything rude or inappropriate hilarious....Always enjoy my visits to Hilarities, shows are affordable, venue is awesome and prices affordable to see National Talent....Make Hilarities a destination spot in the New Year!!!
