  • This place seems like they don't honor appointments too well. I had a consultation appointment that would have literally took 5 minutes. As soon as I arrived at my scheduled time, the girl started doing someone else's hair. I stuck around for about 15 minutes, before asking the girl how much longer it would be. (At this point, she was clearly not even close to being done.) And the girl was like "15 minutes." I just couldn't stay. If they were willing to make me wait at least 30 minutes for a 5 minute consultation, I didn't trust them honoring the actual appointment time, so I canceled everything. The only reason I wanted to try this place is because they're so close to where I live. But if you're reading this and looking for a good salon in the Pittsburgh area, I've had REALLY good experiences at Isle of You Hair Color Studio, especially when it comes to accountability. Out of all of the salons I've tried in Pittsburgh, they've been the best so far. (I feel as if my opinion matters on this one, since I get my hair done very frequently.)
