My entire family has been going to Maggiano's for many, many years. This last meal on Fathers Day was unfortunately the last. The food and service was very good as usual. However, the booth next to us was occupied by 3 adults and two DOGS. IN THE RESTAURANT. And no, they were not service dogs. When I asked one of the managers why dogs were allowed to sit up at the table with people I was told that people can bring in dogs for "emotional support". WHAT???? If you need your dog to provide "emotional support " in order for you to get through a meal at a restaurant then you either need to stay home or get some professional help. Or both. I was told that these people have a right to bring the animals in the restaurant and Maggianos cannot stop them. What if my son had an allergic reaction to these animals??? What if a dog bit someone??? Where are my rights to eat at a restaurant without dog hair landing in my food???? I am flabbergasted that a nice restaurant like this would allow such behavior and will never patronize them again. Maggiano's, you need to re evaluate this unsafe and unhygienic policy.
