The cake part of the cupcakes is pretty good. Its certainly better than most commercial cupcakes, though nowhere as good as some of the stuff I'd had that was made by hobbyists.
The frosting really stands out, though. Now, generally, I've always hated frosting, with the exception of chocolate ganache, because its always heavy, greasy, flavorless, and sickly sweet. But I think Cakes on Walnut does it right. Lots of flavor and a delicate texture.
