  • People from all over the world come to attend workshops here. And fabulous artists from all over the US come to teach those workshops. They also have classes and open studio sessions all year round. And an academy program where you can be accredited (at a fraction of the cost of a commercial art school). Be sure you do your homework. Study the website and have them mail you catalogs (sadly, the web site obscures the art). Visit the school (it's lovely) and ask questions. Staff and students are both really helpful. It's important to find the right teacher and class atmosphere for you. And with all the choices, you will. I've loved attending workshops and open studio for 2 years. Moving into additional weekly classes this Fall with instructors I've taken workshops with. Love it here. Hope you do too.
