Got there around 7 pm on a Saturday night and there were only six other people in the place. That got me a little worried. The restaurant is on Lee Road, north of Cedar Road. Parking was pretty easy. There is a large sidewalk patio outside but it was a bit chilly for us to sit outside so we headed inside. A sign instructs visitors to pick up a menu at the small bar area and seat themselves. There are a few high-top tables and long, bench seating at picnic-type tables. There is also a small stage area and another area with games and pin ball machines.
We both picked sandwiches from the menu and my friend ordered a beer. He went up to the bar to order and picked up our drinks (I just had water). The sandwiches came out pretty quickly. My friend had the Union Avenue and I had the Turkey Ridge. We both enjoyed our sandwiches but they were just sandwiches. Next time I think I will try some of their appetizers, which looked delicious.
By the time we left, the place filled up pretty good with a lot of people walking in from the neighborhood. It seems like a great place to hang out with your friends and I want to come back when they have trivia night (Mondays, I think) and try some of their unusual beer selections.
