This is my first visit here after a friend told me about it. My office is right down the street and I've driven past it a million times thinking they just served bagels.
We ordered two veggie omelets with potatos and sourdough bread. For drinks we had 1 coffee and 1 hot tea and I also ordered a cinnamon bun to go for my assistant, because I am the best boss ever. Total cost was approx. $33.
Plate presentation was amazing. Everything here seems to be supersized and looks delicious. The 4 pieces of sourdough toast between us was probably a half loaf of bread! Yabba Dabba Doo!
The omelets were very good: Fresh vegetables mixed into the egg and cooked thoroughly... I'm picky when it comes to undercooked eggs. The only criticism I can offer is there was a lack of salt, but there was salt at the table so we added salt to our own to taste.
The potatos were ok. Nothing really exciting about them. My wife asked for no onions in her omelet and when the plate was delivered the potatos had onions. No biggie.
The restaurant serves as a bakery and deli as well. The bakery side has lots of goodies that look like they are on steroids. The cinnamon bun is huge and could easily feed three to four people.
Our waitress was friendly and prompt and everyone else in the restaurant looked like they were enjoying the same level of service.
While slightly pricier than other breakfast spots in the area, it isn't a smokey bar or a chain restaurant, which makes it appealing to me.
