  • Awesome place. Always get take out here and have been going since I was a kid. The quality of never, ever changes, and that's a good thing. It's very consistent. Recommend Johns Special (best hoagie you'll have), cheesesteak (on par and maybe better than the 'name' Philly places), and the pizza. Want to try the pizza steak next. BTW, I always use the 'Soup Nazi" rules. Always have money ready, no BSing. The same folks have been working there since I was a kid and sometimes they have 'colorful' arguments. To me, it adds to the charm.
