  • If I could leave a minus star - perhaps that would even be too much. I need to mention how unhygenice and unprofessional this place is. They reuse the laser gel from one body part to another. I really don't want the gel which touched my bikini to be reused on my legs nor the gel from my underarms to be reused on my bikini. They do not sanitize the tools (simple wipe down). 1. while the online appt booking system is good I still think they should follow up with a phone call confirming the appt 24 hrs before. In my experience coming to them since 2013, they did not do this but recently have started (2015) to confirm appointments over the phone. Some times I prefer to book in person but the rude owner told me to strictly use the online booking system because HE COULD NOT SPELL MY NAME (his words not mine) so better I do it myself. BEWARE there is a no show fee even if they never place a reminder phone call to you. 2. Each time I visited, the technician has tried painfully hard to sell me a new package despite saying no each time she has been pushy. I have no more hair left on my body what do they want from me? I already tried the microdermabrasion which was done by the male owner and I hated it. He was rough and recommended it despite the fact that I had severe acne. My dermatologist was outraged. 3. he accused me of not paying for the taxes. I had paid but he never provided me with a receipt so PLEASE BE CAREFUL. ALWAYS ASK FOR A RECEIPT. They could charge taxes and never even claim it since they mostly accept cash only (maybe debit too can't remember). Or they could accuse you of NOT paying. 4. I was getting my laser done with them for some time and had advise them that I had began a course of accutane which is not advisable with laser. Despite this the technician insisted it should be okay. One day out of the blue the owner (lady) told me that they could no longer continue with treatments as I was on accutane. This meant I had 3 sessions left which I would have to carry on later after a gap for 6 months thus reducing my success rate of being hair free for the sessions I had already paid for since the treatments must be 6 weeks back to back with no gaps. Others experience which I unprofessionally had to over hear while waiting: I overhead him tell one customer to book her own appt online because if she can't make it or there is a mistake she will blame him and he does not want to be blamed (very professional) The online booking caused problems - so when an gentleman showed up for the wrong appointment date the lady (owner's wife) got very angry and embarrassed him in front of other customers and later banned him from further appts for 60 days while charging him a no show fee. Really cannot stand the man who owns the place. He yelled at me for booking two appts back to back. When I saw the appt book it was a person who shared my first name but a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT last name that began with the same letter. i.e. Jane Doe and Jane Dud. He then took my file out, which happened to be that of Jane Dud and not mine (Jane Doe). Thank GOD I was paranoid enough to catch it. This IS A SERIOUS medical issue cause if I had indicated any health concerns but the other didn't then they'd be in a lot of trouble for performing treatments on me using the WRONG file. Also, I had bought a voucher on livingdeal (kind of like groupon) they made me return it and made me buy one from them at the spa (SO MUCH HASSLE) and then complained to me about LivingDeal on and on (I really don't want to hear all this as a customer).
